Joburg Day 2026

A public-facing festival experience for a 15,000-person show at Crocodile Creek, with an interactive 3D site map, festival information and a mobile app, all from a single link.

Joburg Day 2026

The project

Crocodile Creek, Johannesburg · ~15,000 attendees

The brief

A stylized festival map that loads fast and works on any device.

Before

Nothing an attendee could open. Site information lived in social media posts. No map, no searchable layout, no way to find a stage, a bar or an activation once you were on site.

What we delivered

We started with an interactive 3D site map attendees could open in any browser. In the second year the brief grew: the map became the centre of a full festival information page, and the same content shipped as a mobile app.

Outcome

Joburg Day came back for a second year and expanded the scope, from a single interactive map to the public information platform for the whole festival.

In a pocket, on the day

The same link on a phone. Attendees searched places, saved what they wanted to see and pulled up directions on site. Nothing to install.
